We are your migration Experts!

Server and application migrations are more than just moving data from one box to another.  Each environment consists of fine-tuned application settings, user and file permissions, critical email, active databases and websites that all need to be transferred smoothly from one platform to another. It does not matter if you are migrating from a legacy operating system like Windows 2003 or looking to upload workloads to the cloud; our team of IT Specialists ensure your migration is done correctly the first time.

Our migration experts work closely with you to make sure we have everything we need to make this a seamless migration and minimize downtime for your customers and end users.

Hi-Tex Solutions performs traditional migrations between physical servers as well as Physical to Virtual migrations (P2V).

migration-support-resizeHi-Tex Solutions provides migration services for Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). We migrate to and in-between both Public and Private clouds crossing VMware, Xen, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Rackspace and our own cloud solutions. We also support in-house migrations between any Virtual technology as well as traditional Bare Metal migrations.

  • Our first step is always to assess your current situation. We start all migration projects with a discovery call to identify priorities and critical systems part of your migration as well as identifying current timelines you may have.
  • Since not everyone is completely aware of all affected systems we then have remote desktop sessions or in-person meetings where our staff will complete a thorough analysis of your environment , Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, IIS, SharePoint, Remote Desktop Services, Virtual Platforms and any custom applications that fall under the scope of the project and run through a series of questions to gather information not identified during earlier discovery calls as well other business requirements.
  • We will then present a statement of work outlining each phase and its expected associated costs.
  • Once approved we will plan the timeline and drop dead date.
